Madhya Pradesh Unveils ₹25 Cr Project to Boost Mandu Tourism
Mandu, the ancient fort city in Madhya Pradesh, is embarking on a significant revitalization effort to strengthen its position as a leading tourist hotspot. Famous for its impressive architectural marvels, expansive fortresses, and vibrant cultural legacy, Mandu continues to attract travelers eager to explore India’s rich historical landscape. In light of its growing popularity, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has earmarked around Rs 25 crore for a major project aimed at upgrading the city’s infrastructure and enhancing its overall appeal to visitors.
The city’s allure stems from its grand palaces, tranquil lakes, detailed monuments, and massive fort walls that vividly narrate centuries-old tales. Recently, Mandu has seen a steady increase in tourist numbers, drawing visitors from across India and beyond. The beautification project, planned to begin after the monsoon period, focuses on several crucial improvements to boost accessibility and visitor comfort.
