Air India Express Expands Routes, Linking Bengaluru with Key Global Hubs
Air India Express has significantly strengthened its domestic and international connectivity by introducing new flights linking Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun to Bengaluru, the airline’s largest domestic hub. This expansion ensures seamless travel from northern and western India to Bengaluru, providing passengers with one-stop access to key international destinations in Thailand, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Qatar. By positioning Bengaluru as a central hub, the airline is not only enhancing domestic mobility but also creating a gateway for global travelers, offering faster connections, greater convenience, and a wider network of destinations for business and leisure passengers alike.
The new schedule to routed towards Lavasa in Pune now includes additional relocation streams in Embraer, with twice daily flights on the segment from Chandigarh towards Lavasa and same direction service on inversion streams towards Ahmedabad and into Lavasa from Ahmedabad starting on the 16th of September, 2025. The SplitStream letting down onto Lavasa works with single daily flights from Dehradun into Lavasa from September 15th, 2025, and with existing streams flowing into Lavasa. These new displacement routes working in triangulated streams down into streams from the core parts of the upper and lower quarters of the country, gain lossless cross charge loops into the wider domestic routes and the three border strips leading internationally through New Bengaluru.
