China Eastern Airlines has entered a new era of connected air travel after introducing free Wi-Fi across its entire wide-body aircraft fleet from 3 July, creating a major shift in how passengers experience long-haul journeys. The move has positioned China Eastern as the first Chinese airline to remove Wi-Fi charges across all of its wide-body aircraft, reflecting a growing global aviation trend led by airlines including Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines and other international carriers.
