Vietnam Opens Doors: Quarantine-Free Entry and New Traveller Benefits
Vietnam has once again opened its borders to foreign tourists by allowing them to enter the republic without undergoing quarantine. The country is wary of letting more tourists in. To this end, the Vietnamese authorities have simplified the travel rules in order to expand the international tourism potential of Vietnam. The new campaign with a catchy slogan “Live Fully in Vietnam” has been introduced in order to attract foreign visitors back to Vietnam, including places like Ha Long Bay, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City.
What travellers need to know before visiting Vietnam
Vietnam’s quarantine-free tourism reopening removed one of the biggest barriers for international visitors by allowing eligible travellers to enter without mandatory isolation. Visitors arriving in Vietnam were required to meet entry conditions including appropriate travel documents, health requirements and insurance coverage during the initial reopening period.
