Malaysia Airlines Climbs 2026 Skytrax Rankings, Cementing Its Place Among the World's Best

Malayisian Airlines has received several awards at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, and has been recognized for improvements to its services and products. The Airline was awarded Best Airline Staff in Asia, with its Cabin Crew ranked the 2nd best in the World, recognizing the efforts the Airline has taken in improving Hospitality and services offered onboard its planes. The Airline is currently focusing on improving the Travel and Transportation Industry and is striving to be one of the leading Airlines in the world, by making improvements in its infrastructure and services. Malayasian Airlines has invested in enhancing its staff and cabin crew services, extending its flights and routes, improving its aircraft fleet and improving its onboard services. AirlineIndustry Analysis The national carrier of Malaysia continued its upward movement in the global rankings, rising six places to secure 21st position in the World’s Best Airline category. The latest results highlight the airline’s ongoing transformation strategy, driven by investments in its workforce, onboard experience, fleet development, network expansion and overall customer service improvements. The airline delivered strong performances across multiple categories at the 2026 awards. Malaysia Airlines advanced significantly in the World’s Best Airport Services category, moving from sixth place in 2025 to second position this year. It also entered the World’s Best Business Class Airlines ranking for the first time, securing 18th place. In the economy travel segment, Malaysia Airlines improved its position in the World’s Best Economy Class Airlines category, climbing four places to 12th from 16th in the previous year. The carrier also strengthened its reputation for operational standards and passenger comfort by moving up to 11th place in the World’s Cleanest Airline category.
