Mui Ne Set to Become Asia-Pacific’s Premier Tourism Hub with Ambitious Master Plan for 2050
The newly approved master plan for the Mui Ne National Tourist Area in Binh Thuan province aims to establish the region as a globally recognized tourism hub, positioning it as a leading destination in the Asia-Pacific by 2050.
The development strategy focuses on transforming Mui Ne into a prominent international tourism center, contributing to the economic growth of both Binh Thuan and Vietnam. Spanning 14,760 hectares, the area covers essential locations in Phan Thiet city, Bac Binh district, and Tuy Phong district.
At the heart of the plan is the creation of modern, sustainable infrastructure, prioritizing green spaces, cleanliness, and the preservation of the region’s cultural, historical, and natural landmarks. The project aligns with Vietnam’s Tourism Development Strategy for 2030 and Binh Thuan’s tourism objectives for 2021-2030, ensuring the safeguarding of Mui Ne’s unique heritage.
