Mumbai Airport Brings in Indo Thai After Ending Celebi Deal to Improve Passenger Experience
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), one of India’s busiest aviation hubs, has announced the appointment of Indo Thai Airport Services as its interim ground handling provider. This strategic move comes into effect immediately and will remain in place for a period of three months. The decision follows the recent termination of the airport’s contract with Turkish-based Celebi Aviation, which had been handling ground operations at the airport.
The change marks a significant operational shift at CSMIA, as the airport aims to maintain service continuity while it transitions to a new long-term partner. Indo Thai Airport Services, a certified ground handling firm currently operating across nine airports in India, has been chosen to fill the gap and uphold the airport’s service standards during this interim phase.
