Agra Metro Takes a Step Closer to Full Operations
The Agra Metro has moved one step closer to full operational status with the successful completion of a critical 6 km trial run between Mankameshwar and the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT). This achievement underscores the steady progress made in both construction and technical readiness. The trial run not only reflects the completion of track work on this section but also sets the stage for extended test runs that will further ensure the metro’s operational efficiency. With this successful trial, the project is now poised to expand its testing, bringing Agra closer to the launch of a modern, reliable, and efficient public transportation system for the city.
In 2025, the Agra Metro achieved an important milestone with the successful completion of its trial run on the up-line between Mankameshwar and the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT). The 6 km trial was executed smoothly, highlighting consistent progress in both construction and technical aspects of the project.
The trial run took place on the up-line track, marking an essential step in preparing the system for full operations.
