Emirates and Air Peace Partner to Boost Seamless Air Connectivity Across Africa

Emirates and Air Peace are reshaping long-haul and regional travel because their expanded interline agreement now allows passengers across West Africa to connect seamlessly to Dubai and London on a single ticket, removing long-standing barriers around baggage transfers and complex routing. By combining Air Peace’s deep regional reach with Emirates’ global network, the partnership strengthens Lagos as a major gateway, opens new international pathways for travellers in Nigeria and neighbouring countries, and responds directly to rising demand for smoother, more flexible connections between Africa, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Emirates and Air Peace have moved to deepen their cooperation by activating a bilateral interline agreement that significantly expands air connectivity between Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. The step strengthens travel links across West and Central Africa while making it easier for passengers to move between regional African cities and long-haul international destinations. Under the agreement, both airlines now allow passengers to book their journeys on a single ticket and check their baggage through to the final destination on selected routes. This change removes much of the friction that often comes with connecting flights on different carriers. Travellers no longer need to collect and recheck luggage at transfer points, which saves time and reduces stress, especially on multi-sector international trips.
