Jetstar Adds Newcastle–Singapore and Bali Routes to Boost Connectivity
Jetstar Airways has significantly expanded its regional network with the launch of a new international service connecting Newcastle to Singapore and Bali, providing enhanced travel options for passengers in the Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid North Coast regions. This new route eliminates the need for travelers to transit through larger metropolitan airports, offering a more convenient, direct connection to key destinations in Asia. With increased flight frequency and seamless connections via Bali, Jetstar’s expansion brings faster, more affordable travel options, boosting regional connectivity and supporting local tourism and business opportunities.
Jetstar Airways has expanded its international network with a new route connecting Australia’s Hunter region to Southeast Asia. This service links Newcastle Airport (NTL) to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) with a stopover at Denpasar Bali Airport (DPS), marking a significant improvement in regional air travel connectivity.
The new route builds on Jetstar’s successful Newcastle–Bali service, which now operates four times a week, continuing onward to Singapore. By offering a seamless connection through Bali, this expansion gives passengers a more efficient alternative to flying via major hubs like Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD). This move enhances travel convenience for passengers from the Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid North Coast regions.
