Singapore Leads Southeast Asia Business Travel Transformation
Singapore may have topped Southeast Asia in corporate revenue, but the effects of that success are reaching far beyond offices, stock markets and boardrooms. One of the biggest trends emerging from the latest data is how Singapore business travel is beginning to reshape tourism throughout the region.
The latest Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking found that companies based in Singapore generated a combined US$657.5 billion in revenue, more than any other country in Southeast Asia. While that may sound like a purely economic achievement, the reality is that stronger businesses often lead to stronger tourism industries.
