US Travellers Choose Off-Peak Travel as Savannah and San Diego Emerge as Crowd-Free Picks
A low-key revolution is underway in how we choose to distance ourselves in space and time. Travelers have made themselves delirious by emptying themselves into peak-season travel when the Summer sun is at its highest point in the sky. This is the time when travelers experience the discomfort associated with extreme congestion from long lines, and travel to and from remote locations. Travelers have also experienced the stress associated from crammed, hotel rooms. All of the stress and discomfort associated with travel was compounded of the high costs associated with travel. Even though we referred to the trips we took as ‘vacations’, it was much more accurate to say that what we traveled to and experienced were the complete opposite of a ‘vacation’. The madness of peak-season Summer travel brings us the delights of the lingering sunsets in March and serene and quiet October mornings.
This is what we travel to experience. This is what we consider to be travel cost-effective budget hacks versus what is actually realistic travel budget hacks. This underlies what we consider travel to be about. Stepping away from the rush of peak Summer travel is allowing us to save our sanity and breathe new life into the natural wonders and communities that we love. The Dynamic Expansion of Global Off-Peak Journeys
