Vietnam Airlines Launches A350 Amsterdam-Hanoi Route, Strengthening Europe-Asia Connectivity

Vietnam Airlines has expanded its long-haul international network with the launch of a new direct Amsterdam–Hanoi A350 service, as rising passenger demand between Vietnam and Europe drives stronger aviation connectivity and supports faster, more efficient travel across key global markets. The inaugural flight marks a strategic milestone in the airline’s Europe expansion plan, reducing dependence on one-stop transit routes and improving access between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe. Operating three times per week with the Airbus A350, the new service enhances both passenger convenience and cargo efficiency, while reinforcing Vietnam Airlines’ position as a key connector between Vietnam, the Netherlands, and the wider European aviation network. Vietnam Airlines has officially launched a new direct international flight connecting Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with Hanoi, marking one of its most strategic long-haul expansions in recent years. The inaugural flight took off successfully, operated by the Airbus A350, and immediately signalled a stronger aviation bridge between Northern Europe and Southeast Asia. This new service is not just another route addition. It is a structured network expansion designed to deepen Vietnam Airlines’ European presence, strengthen tourism flows, and improve cargo connectivity between two economically important regions. The airline now significantly expands its reach across Europe with this launch, reinforcing its position as a key long-haul carrier in the Asia–Europe aviation corridor.
