Saudi Arabia Rolls Out Fast-Track E-Entry With 180-Day Stay for UK Travellers.
Saudi Arabia will introduce a new Electronic Travel Authorisation system for UK passport holders from July 2026 as part of a broader strategy to modernise entry procedures and strengthen international travel connectivity. The initiative is designed to simplify short-term travel by replacing traditional visa processes with a faster digital approval mechanism, allowing eligible visitors to enter the Kingdom multiple times and stay for up to 180 consecutive days within a one-year period. The policy aims to boost tourism, facilitate smoother business exchanges, and support short-term educational visits, while maintaining clear restrictions that prevent use for employment, long-term residency, or Hajj travel purposes.
Saudi Arabia will introduce a new Electronic Travel Authorisation system for British citizens from July 1, 2026, creating a faster and more flexible entry route for travellers from the United Kingdom. The new system marks a major step in simplifying travel between the two countries and is expected to support tourism, business visits, short-term education, and wider mobility.
