Singapore Unveils Greater Sentosa Redevelopment with New Attractions

Singapore is transforming Sentosa into a future-ready global travel destination through the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, a 20-year redevelopment vision that will introduce new attractions, greener landscapes, upgraded beaches and smarter transport connections across the island and neighbouring Pulau Brani. The ambitious project aims to redefine island tourism by combining entertainment, nature, sustainability and cultural experiences while encouraging visitors to stay longer and explore more. As part of the wider Greater Southern Waterfront development, the transformation will create a next-generation leisure hub along Singapore’s southern coastline, with new experiences opening from the early 2030s and continuing through the 2040s to strengthen Singapore’s position as one of Asia’s leading travel destinations. Singapore is preparing for one of the biggest tourism transformations in its history with the launch of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, a 20-year vision that will reshape Sentosa Island and neighbouring Pulau Brani. The ambitious redevelopment aims to create a future-ready destination combining world-class attractions, nature, sustainability, entertainment and improved connectivity. The transformation is part of the wider Greater Southern Waterfront development, one of Singapore’s largest urban renewal projects.
