Vietnam Tourism Shifts Focus to Sustainable Growth and Premium Experiences, Say Investors
Vietnam’s tourism sector is entering a new phase where success is expected to be defined not only by visitor numbers but by the quality of experiences, environmental responsibility and protection of cultural identity. Industry leaders believe the country’s long-term competitiveness will depend on creating meaningful travel experiences while preserving the natural and cultural assets that attract international visitors.
Luc Van Nerom, co-founder of the Amanoi luxury resort project in south-central Vietnam, has highlighted the importance of developing a balanced tourism ecosystem. According to him, Vietnam should focus on becoming a destination admired for its authenticity, landscapes and unique experiences rather than simply competing to become one of the world’s largest tourism markets by arrival volume.
