UK Travel is prioritizing family-friendly features at airports. London Luton Airport has implemented a children’s holiday reading campaign in order to enhance traveller experience pre-departure. Luton Airport, in collaboration with award-winning comedian, author and illustrator Olaf Falafel, has launched a reading initiative. Aimed at providing children a reading break during the school holiday, the initiative urges children to decompress and enjoy a graphic novel in the airport’s waiting lounge. The initiative extends beyond the holiday travel to invite creativity and imagination. Designed with the family in mind, the initiative gets children in the departure lounge excited about the family travel plans.
London Luton Airport Creates a New Family Travel Experience Before Take-Off
London Luton Airport has introduced a new initiative aimed at transforming the pre-flight experience for young passengers and families travelling during the summer holiday season. The airport has partnered with Luton-based creative artist Olaf Falafel to produce 26 Minutes to Save Summer, a specially created graphic novel designed to encourage children to enjoy reading while preparing for their journeys.
