Global tourism professionals to attend state travel mart
The Tourism Department is organizing the Goa International Travel Mart, a two-day event starting on April 3 in the state, bringing together industry professionals from around the world. The department aims to use this platform to highlight Goa’s tourism offerings, especially emphasizing new avenues like heritage and hinterland tourism.
"It’s not just about networking and business opportunities. It’s about showcasing Goa’s unique charm and enticing travelers to explore all that our region has to offer," stated Tourism Director Suneel Anchipaka.
The event, designed for stakeholders from the travel and trade industry, will take place at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim. The Tourism Department anticipates that this event will facilitate connections, collaborations, and the showcasing of travel services, as well as the formation of partnerships and exploration of new travel avenues.
