San Antonio airport braces for record-breaking summer travel crowds

SAN ANTONIO - With travel season upon us, The San Antonio International Airport is busier than ever and expected to break some travel records. This summer alone is already one of the busiest on record for airport travel. The airport is expecting upwards of 300,000 passengers to come through the airport through Sunday. It is recommended that travelers arrive at least two hours before their flight to prepare for lines and TSA bag checks. Also, check your flight status, know where to park, and get a ride to the airport if you can. If you have extra days off, coming back Monday July 8 is a smart move to avoid congestion at airport.
