India & Singapore Strengthen Ties in Travel, Tourism, Tech & Investment Ahead of Advantage Assam 2.0
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived in Singapore last night to strengthen Assam’s partnerships in travel, tourism, technology, hospitality, and investment ahead of Advantage Assam 2.0, a premier summit designed to attract global opportunities to the state. Upon landing at Changi Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, setting the stage for a series of high-level discussions with key stakeholders to expand bilateral collaboration across multiple sectors.
As part of his formal engagements, Dr. Sarma called on H.E. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, to discuss Assam’s growing role in strengthening the Indo-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The Chief Minister acknowledged Singapore’s pivotal support for Advantage Assam 2.0, reinforcing the state’s potential as a key investment destination in India’s Act East Policy
