Harbor Shores Resort Introduces The Wee Course, a Community-Driven Golf Experience with Free Play for Kids

Harbor Shores Resort, the renowned lakeside destination featuring a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course, has been a driving force behind Benton Harbor, Michigan’s economic revival since 2010. The resort is now set to introduce its latest community amenity, The Wee Course, an exciting new addition that will offer a unique and engaging golf experience where kids can play for free and youth programming will take center stage. Designed by Hall of Fame golfer and former KitchenAid Senior PGA Champion Colin Montgomerie, the five-acre, nine-hole pitch-and-putt course will be located adjacent to the cottages along the first hole. Each hole, measuring 60 yards or less, will be inspired by the nine most iconic holes of the existing Jack Nicklaus layout. Harbor Shores was initially developed nearly two decades ago by Whirlpool as a catalyst for economic growth, recreation, and tourism in Benton Harbor. With The Wee Course, the resort continues to invest in the community’s future, fostering the next generation of golfers and enhancing its commitment to accessible, family-friendly recreation.
