Kenya Breaks Tourism Records in with over 2 million International Arrivals and 15% Strategic Growth
Kenya set a new tourism record in 2024 with 2.4 million international arrivals, growing 15% from 2023 through strategic initiatives.
Kenya’s tourism industry achieved an unprecedented milestone in 2024, welcoming a record-breaking 2.4 million international visitors, surpassing all previous arrival figures.
According to the 2024 performance report released by Rebecca Miano, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, the number of inbound visitors marked an impressive 15% growth compared to the 2,089,259 arrivals recorded in 2023.
Tourism revenue also saw remarkable growth, climbing from Kshs. 377.49 billion in 2023 to Kshs. 452.20 billion in 2024, reflecting a robust 19.79% increase.
