Aeromexico Expands New Mexico City-Cali Route in June 2025
It had been indicated that Aeromexico was continuing to strengthen its presence in Colombia, with the announcement of a new route connecting Mexico City and Cali. Reports suggested that this new service was scheduled to commence on June 19, 2025, and would be operated daily using the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. This expansion was said to be part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity between Mexico and key South American destinations.
Mexico City to Cali Flights: Departures from Mexico City were reportedly set for early afternoon, with arrivals in Cali expected in the early evening.
Cali to Mexico City Flights: Return flights from Cali were scheduled for morning departures, arriving in Mexico City around midday.
Additionally, it was noted that Aeromexico had recently launched another Colombian route. The service between Mexico City and Cartagena had begun operations on February 20, 2025, also using the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with daily flights.
