Hawaii is emerging as a top destination for travelers from Asia, with growing interest in its stunning landscapes, rich culture, and diverse attractions. According to digital travel platform Agoda, accommodation searches from Asia to Hawaii have seen a 5% year-on-year increase during the peak travel season.
Asian Markets Driving Hawaii’s Popularity
The top five Asian countries leading the surge in Hawaiian travel interest are Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore. Notably, Vietnam and China have experienced triple-digit growth, with searches skyrocketing by 124% and 113% respectively. The Philippines also recorded a significant 16% rise, underscoring a broader trend of increasing demand for Hawaiian getaways.
