Etihad Airways Enhances Luxury Travel Experience with the Return of A380 Aircraft
Etihad Airways has officially announced that its iconic A380 aircraft will be deployed on the Abu Dhabi – Toronto route, starting from 24 June 2025, just in time for the bustling summer travel season. The return of this legendary double-decker jet on the route between Zayed Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is set to redefine luxury air travel, offering passengers an exceptional flying experience to Canada, the land of the maple leaf.
This strategic move caters to both leisure and business travelers, enhancing connectivity between the Middle East and North America. Etihad’s A380 is renowned for its unparalleled luxury, including The Residence, the world’s only three-room suite in the sky, promising a lavish experience unlike any other.
With the introduction of the A380 on the Toronto route, Etihad Airways aims to increase capacity, making it easier for travelers to visit Abu Dhabi, either as a stopover or a final destination. The airline’s Abu Dhabi Stopover programme allows passengers to transform layovers into memorable stays, offering up to two complimentary nights at premium hotels in Abu Dhabi. This initiative encourages travelers to explore the rich cultural heritage, luxurious shopping, and world-class entertainment that the capital of the UAE has to offer.
