Vietnam And China Open New Border Crossing To Boost Trade, Tourism, And Connectivity
Shuo Long crossing serves as the most accessible gateway linking the key tourist hubs of both regions. Its strategic infrastructure and adaptable support policies provide significant growth opportunities within the border checkpoint network that connects Cao Bằng with Guangxi.
The Shuo Long Border Gate in China was officially opened on Thursday, further strengthening trade connections between Cao Bằng Province in northern Vietnam and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China.The inauguration ceremony was co-hosted by the People’s Committee of Hạ Lang District in Cao Bằng Province and the administrative authorities of Daxin in China.
In recent years, the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Cao Bằng and Guangxi have grown stronger, guided by strategic understandings established by the high-level leaders of both nations. These agreements emphasize the vision of creating a “Việt Nam-China community with a shared future,” highlighting the strategic importance of bilateral relations.
