Saudi Arabia Embraces Sustainability As Red Sea Global Introduces Sustainable Aviation Fuel For The First Time
Red Sea Global has joined forces with APSCO and Daa International to introduce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Saudi Arabia, aiming to cut carbon emissions by as much as 35% for airlines operating at Red Sea International Airport.
Red Sea Global (RSG) has made history by introducing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Saudi Arabia for the first time, in partnership with Daa International and the Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO). This strategic initiative allows airlines operating at Red Sea International Airport (RSI) to utilize SAF for refueling, marking a significant step toward eco-friendly aviation.
To further its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions, RSG’s subsidiary airline, Fly Red Sea, will exclusively power its fleet using SAF and Lower-Carbon Aviation Fuel (LCAF).
