Holland America Unveils New 2026-2027 Hawaii & Panama Canal Cruises with Acapulco Return and Extended Pacific Voyages
Holland America Line had recently announced an extensive new cruise schedule for the 2026-2027 season, catering to travelers interested in Hawaiian island adventures and transits through the iconic Panama Canal. The cruise line had officially opened bookings on February 27, 2025, unveiling a selection of 25 voyages scheduled between September 2026 and April 2027.
This period had been strategically chosen, as it allowed Holland America to bypass peak hurricane season while maximizing optimal sailing conditions. The itineraries had varied in duration, ranging from 14 to 35 days, with over half of the fleet engaged in tropical sailings.
Notably, the upcoming season had included the return of Acapulco, Mexico, to the cruise line’s itinerary for the first time in 15 years, marking a significant addition to select Panama Canal routes. This decision had underscored Holland America’s efforts to diversify its offerings and reintroduce historically rich, culturally significant ports to its voyages.
