The initiative, spearheaded by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), aligns with the broader vision of transforming Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) into a major aviation hub. Daily Direct Flights to Ghaziabad and Port Blair Starting March 30, 2025, Air India Express will introduce daily flights connecting Bhubaneswar to Ghaziabad and Port Blair. This strategic move is part of Odisha’s new destination policy, which focuses on strengthening domestic air routes and providing seamless travel options for business, tourism, and personal trips.
