Emirates, the Official Airline Partner and Principal Partner of AC Milan, has unveiled a spectacular A380 livery to commemorate the Rossoneri’s 125th anniversary. Adorned with the club’s iconic red and black stripes, the livery celebrates AC Milan’s legacy of excellence and its global influence on football. Mangan district in Sikkim welcomes tourists again

Tourists will be allowed in various Himalayan destinations of the Mangan district, including Yumthang, Dikchu, Lachung and the Guru Dongmar Lake, in a staggered manner from December 1, a senior official of the Sikkim government said on Wednesday. Tourism activities were suspended in the district five months ago after heavy rainfall caused severe landslides, damaging various roads and bridges along the North Sikkim Highway. "After examining the current situation and road conditions in Mangan district, it has been decided to allow tourists in a staggered manner," Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Principal Secretary CS Rao said. He said the district administration will work out the modalities for facilitating the movement of the tourists from December 1. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has been restoring roads in the district on war footing, officials said.

Singapore Airlines A380 rolls back at Delhi Airport

A Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 experienced an unexpected rollback at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in New Delhi on November 25, 2024, due to a failure by the pilots to set the parking brakes after parking. The incident occurred shortly after the aircraft, operating flight SQ406 from Singapore (SIN), had docked at the gate. While no passengers were harmed, a cabin crew member sustained a minor thigh injury during the rollback. The pilot promptly applied the brakes to stop the aircraft, and ground staff later towed it back into position. All passengers disembarked without further incident. Singapore Airlines Responds Singapore Airlines (SIA) issued a statement confirming the incident: “An Airbus A380 operating flight SQ406 from Singapore to New Delhi experienced a rollback after parking at IGIA on November 25, 2024. The pilot immediately applied the brakes to halt the aircraft. Once stationary, the pilots informed air traffic control, and the aircraft was safely towed back to its designated bay.

Mumbai soon to get its first elevated forest walkway in Malabar Hill

This 705-meter-long elevated walkway is an awesome forest landscape. It will allow walkers to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea. The walkway's wooden structure is carefully designed to blend with the natural surroundings, ensuring minimal disruption to water flow along the hill slopes and the movement of wildlife. One of the prime features of this place is its birdwatching area. From here, visitors will be able to observe the region's diverse avian life. There is also a glass-bottom deck offering beautiful views of the forest below. The entry and exit points for the walkway are located at Siri Road, right behind Kamala Nehru Park.
