Thousands of residents and visitors thronged various landmarks across Dubai on New Year's Eve to participate in the grand celebrations on the last night of 2025. Dubai's parks and the Dubai Frame hosted 39,000 visitors on December 31, offering a vibrant lineup of festivities by Dubai Municipality. Dubai Frame wrapped up 2025 with breathtaking drone displays and fireworks on New Year's Eve.Besides the annual fireworks show, the iconic landmark hosted a drone display for the first time this year, as part of a broader celebration that featured fireworks displays at 40 locations across the emirate.Additionally, operating hours of 14 public parks were extended until 1am to provide safe and comfortable viewing areas for families wishing to enjoy the celebrations. The Dubai Fountain put on a magical display on New Year's Eve, with water stunts, synchronised dancers on decorated floats, laser shows and more. While it was a ticketed event on December 31, visitors can now watch the fountain show for free.Arab influencer Omar Farooq had taken his followers behind the scenes, showing dance rehearsals taking place for parades and shows, swimmers in the dancing fountains to people walking on a rope from Dubai Mall to Burj Khalifa.
