Xinjiang’s Heavenly Horses Festival: A Wild Cultural Experience
The 2025 Xinjiang Ili Heavenly Horses Culture and Tourism Festival opened in Zhaosu County, Xinjiang on May 20 and will run through October, providing an opportunity to experience the ancient equestrian skills and horse culture of the region. The festival, into its 33rd edition this year, is an effervescent culmination of thrilling horse riding events, academic debates, cultural feasts and regional tourism promotion.
