Spain’s tourism sector has seen remarkable growth, fueled by its visa-free access for travelers from ninety three countries as of August 2025, including the US, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Japan, UAE, and Norway. This accessibility has helped Spain set a record, attracting 94 million international visitors in 2024, with tourism contributing approximately €126 billion to the economy. The country’s open travel policies have not only drawn vacationers but have also facilitated business and cultural exchanges, further boosting Spain’s global appeal. Ranking third in the world for visa-free access with 189 destinations, Spain surpasses the US, which offers access to 182. Spain Tourist Arrivels in 2025: In May 2025, Spain set a new record by attracting 9.4 million international tourists, reflecting a 1.5% increase over the same period in 2024. The United Kingdom continued to be the largest source of visitors, with almost 2.1 million arrivals, marking a 7.3% rise from May 2024. France and Germany followed closely, each contributing around 1.2 million tourists, although both saw declines of 6.7% and 6.1%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
