Singapore Wins Travelers With Budget Flight Deals

Singapore has become an attractive destination for tourists because the price of flights is decreasing. Singapore has become more and more popular among budget travelers who desire to spend less on air tickets as many carriers cut prices within the region. For example, flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Singapore and to some Southeast Asian countries, such as Malaysia and Thailand, were significantly discounted for two consecutive months, which prompted many travelers to take a short holiday in neighboring countries. For instance, some of the one-way flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore were found for only VND 1.4 million to VND 1.9 million (around US$53.5 to US$72.6) and so on. The airfare decline has placed Singapore alongside other Asian destinations competing to attract more visitors through lower transportation costs. Airlines are using promotional fares, seasonal discounts and competitive pricing strategies to encourage travellers during the quieter travel period before the end-of-year tourism rush.
