Dubai Museum of the Future will close on September 1 in order to redesign the current experience to include more immersive technologies which will be added by 2027. A major redevelopment of one of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks is scheduled to begin with the closure of the Museum of the Future on September 1, 2026. The first quarter of 2027 is the expected completion date on this ambitious project to redevelop the Museum of the Future, featuring the latest immersive technologies. The closure represents far more than routine maintenance. Instead, the museum is preparing to reimagine its visitor journey, replace existing experiences and introduce fresh concepts connected with rapidly developing technology, science and global innovation.
