Taiwan Travel Surge Accelerates as the island launches an over thirty-three billion New Taiwan dollars tourism revolution aimed at attracting ten million global visitors by introducing powerful incentives for repeat travellers, boosting accommodation support and strengthening international tourism demand. The massive tourism programme is designed to bring back overseas visitors, encourage longer stays and increase travel spending through financial rewards, group travel benefits and new visitor-focused initiatives. As Taiwan continues its tourism recovery, the ambitious strategy highlights the island’s determination to become a leading global destination by creating stronger reasons for travellers to return and explore its culture, landscapes and experiences. Tourpackages Taiwan is accelerating its tourism recovery with a major NT$33.3 billion (approximately US$1.05 billion) tourism programme designed to attract more international visitors, encourage repeat journeys and increase travel spending across the island. The ambitious initiative, launching in September 2026, will introduce new financial incentives for overseas travellers, including a NT$5,000 spending credit for selected repeat visitors who return to explore Taiwan again.
