Ladakh Visitor Arrivals Surge 50% In First Eight Months Of 2026
Ladakh Tourism in India experienced a great surge in the influx of tourists who increased by 50% during the first eight months of 2026. Ladakh, being a high altitude location, received about 4.05 lakh tourists from January to August 2026.
The surge reflects growing interest in Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes, adventure experiences, cultural heritage, monasteries, remote villages and year-round travel opportunities.
