Abu Dhabi Launches Digital Platform to Boost Island and Sea Tourism Under 2030 Strategy
To promote tourism and the development of water-based adventure activities, Abu Dhabi has created a digital marine guide. The digital guide will help Abu Dhabi manage and support the growth of sustainable travel. The digital guide gives a complete system of how travelers will visit islands, explore marine areas, and experience coastal adventures. The new Abu Dhabi Islands and Water Sports Guide allows travelers to create itineraries, select from more than 200 islands and marine areas, and from the many water activities and licensed operators.
The platform aims to make marine tourism more accessible for international visitors by offering detailed guidance for travellers planning sailing trips, island-hopping journeys, kayaking experiences and other sea-based adventures. It provides a simpler way for visitors to explore Abu Dhabi’s coastline while understanding available activities, access conditions and environmental considerations.
