Dubai's New 80km Corridor Promises 60% Faster Travel Across the UAE
Dubai is set to transform travel across the UAE with the approval of its powerful 80km Fourth Corridor, a major infrastructure project designed to improve road connectivity and reduce journey times by up to 60 per cent. The new corridor will create a faster link between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah through a high-capacity route featuring 12 lanes in both directions, bridges and tunnels. With the ability to handle up to 24,000 vehicles per hour and connect key hubs including Al Maktoum International Airport and Etihad Rail, the project will enhance mobility for residents, travellers and businesses while supporting Dubai’s long-term transport and economic growth plans
