Emirates debuts its enhanced Airbus A380 at Bahrain International Airshow 2024, showcasing new cabin designs, Premium Economy, and luxury in-flight features.
Emirates, the leading international airline, is set to make a prominent appearance at the 7th Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024, scheduled from November 13 to 15 at Sakhir Airbase in Manama. The event will feature Emirates’ iconic Airbus A380, showcasing its latest four-class configuration, complete with updated interiors and the airline’s newly refreshed livery.
Visitors to the Emirates display will experience the airline’s state-of-the-art cabin offerings, from the celebrated Onboard Lounge and luxurious Shower Spa to the newly introduced Premium Economy and refreshed interiors across all classes. This display underscores Emirates’ commitment to delivering an exceptional onboard experience, offering attendees an exclusive look into the spacious and sophisticated design elements that define the airline’s signature service.
The Emirates A380 on display will feature 14 private First-Class suites, 76 lie-flat Business Class seats, 56 spacious Premium Economy seats, and 338 comfortable Economy seats, each equipped for a world-class experience. The exclusive Premium Economy cabin offers an upgraded experience, featuring 7 rows in a 2-4-2 layout, personalized seating with convenient charging points, and a side cocktail table, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
Onboard, visitors will discover Emirates’ refined interiors, enhanced with fresh color palettes and advanced amenities, including a next-generation Onboard Lounge and the luxurious Shower Spa available to First-Class travelers, an exclusive offering that enables passengers to refresh mid-flight. Emirates’ dedicated cabin crew will also be present to answer questions and highlight the unique features of the aircraft.
As the world’s largest operator of the A380, Emirates is currently executing an extensive in-house retrofit project, valued at over $4 billion, to elevate passenger experience across its fleet. To date, 40 A380s have been revamped with the latest cabin innovations, ensuring a consistent and premium experience for years to come.
Serving Bahrain since 2000, Emirates operates 21 weekly flights to the Kingdom using Boeing 777 aircraft, connecting travelers to over 140 destinations worldwide through its Dubai hub. With over 7.8 million passengers and nearly 48,500 flights between Bahrain and Dubai, Emirates has firmly established its presence in the region.
