The much-anticipated Visakha Utsav 2026 is set to begin on January 24 in Visakhapatnam, offering nine days of lively cultural celebrations that will extend across the districts of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, and Alluri Sitarama Raju. The festival’s curtain-raiser took place at the VMRDA Children’s Arena in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, where state ministers, including Kandula Durgesh, Vangalapudi Anitha, Gummadi Sandhya Rani, Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, and Kollu Ravindra, gathered to unveil the poster and discuss preparations. The ministers were joined by a number of other key figures, including Visakhapatnam MP Sribharat, TDP State President and MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao, and several district officials.
The opening ceremony of the Visakha Utsav will be held in Visakhapatnam, while the grand finale is scheduled to take place in Anakapalle. This year’s event will reach beyond the city to involve surrounding districts, ensuring that a larger audience can participate and benefit from the festivities.
