Japan Airlines Resumes Narita-Delhi Flights, Expands North America Routes
Japan Airlines (JAL) is fortifying its strategic network by reintroducing the Narita-Delhi route, offering North American travelers greater flexibility and more efficient travel options. This move allows JAL to expand its reach and provide an alternative to heavily trafficked Middle Eastern and European hubs for travelers between North America and India. With carefully timed flights that support seamless connections from U.S. and Canadian cities, JAL enhances its service offering by optimizing its flight schedules for connecting passengers. By doing so, JAL is not only boosting its competitive position but also making long-haul travel more convenient for North American passengers heading to or from Delhi.
Japan Airlines (JAL) will relaunch its Tokyo Narita (NRT) to Delhi (DEL) service on January 17, 2026, reinstating a route that has not been operational for several years. This new addition will complement the airline’s existing flights from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Delhi, allowing JAL to serve Delhi from both airports, each catering to different passenger segments.
