In the onset of 2020, Puerto Plaza shows a powerful advancement in cruise tourism.

On the very first day of 2020, two ships with about 8,126 occupants on board has harbored at the Amber Cove terminal in Maimon, Puerto Plata, stressing the influence of the destination in terms of cruise tourism.
