Coronavirus breakout in China: 7 Indian airports to screen passengers

After issuing a travel advisory to its citizens visiting China in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the Government of India has strengthened measures to block the spread of mystery virus in India. Reportedly, seven airports in India have been directed to screen passengers coming from China. The Ministry of Civil Aviation asked Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Cochin airports to screen all the passengers arriving from China. Prior to this, the Ministry had asked Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai airports to scan passengers. The coronavirus aka the Wuhan virus has made its way to even the USA after a traveler was reportedly diagnosed with the same. In addition, the virus has also entered countries including Thailand, Japan and South Korea. As many as 300 cases of infection have been reported in China, thus alarming the nations across the world.
