Ceebros Hotels Sets New Standards in Eco-Hospitality with Pullman Anna Salai’s Smart Renovation

Ceebros Hotels has consistently upheld a standard of world-class hospitality paired with a deep commitment to eco-friendly practices. This commitment led to the sustainable renovation of the Pullman Anna Salai, incorporating both dynamic and passive measures to enhance energy efficiency. The renovation included the installation of intelligent Air Handling Units, water-cooled chillers, and an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled air quality monitoring system that connects with an Integrated Building Management System (IBMS). We also improved window insulation with optimal glazing and Double Glazing Units (DGUs), and selected sustainable materials for the interior design. This extensive overhaul involved a significant investment of around ₹100 crore and preserved almost the entire original structure, underscoring our dedication to environmentally responsible redevelopment. Our commitment to environmental stewardship was further solidified by three pivotal initiatives that led to our achievement of the esteemed LEED GOLD Certification. We’ve managed to reduce energy consumption by about 20%, with the balance of our energy needs fulfilled by our renewable energy installations, including a wind power facility and an on-site solar system, thus sourcing 100% of our energy from renewable resources at Pullman Anna Salai.
