Namma Metro Yellow Line Launch: Tejasvi Surya Hails Bengaluru’s Milestone
Namma Metro , Namma Metro Yellow Line , Namma Metro Yellow Line Bangalore: The much-awaited first train for the Namma Metro Yellow Line has been flagged off today (January 6) from West Bengal. Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, virtually attended the event from New Delhi, marking this significant milestone in the rollout of the Metro train for Bengaluru's Yellow Line.
Developed by Kolkata-based Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), the first trainset for the Namma Metro Yellow Line is set to be rolled out today. The train will operate on the 18.82 km-long Yellow Line, offering a much-needed solution to transportation in Bengaluru and providing commuters with relief from the city's notorious traffic congestion.
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya expressed his excitement over the milestone on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Sharing some snapshots from the launch of the first trainset for Namma Metro's Yellow Line at Titagarh, Kolkata - a proud moment for Bengaluru's urban mobility journey."
