Vietnam Airlines Expands Key Routes and International Services for Summer 2025 Across Asia and Europe.

Vietnam Airlines recently announced comprehensive updates to its international operations for the Northern Summer 2025 season, with the changes taking effect between March 30 and September 29, 2025. The airline’s detailed adjustments, shared on January 9, 2025, include route resumptions, new services, frequency modifications, and aircraft upgrades. These updates reflect the airline’s strategic approach to meeting market demand and enhancing its network in key regions. A major highlight of the changes is the resumption of flights on routes previously suspended. From April 1, 2025, the Hanoi–Kuala Lumpur route will return with three weekly services using Airbus A321 aircraft. This route was unavailable during the Northern Winter 2024 season, and its reintroduction signifies a renewed focus on Southeast Asian connectivity. Another notable resumption is the Ho Chi Minh City–Hong Kong route, which will restart with daily flights on March 30, 2025. This route, dormant since 2020, marks an important milestone in restoring pre-pandemic service levels.
