Bali Aims To Captivate Over Six Million Global Travelers In 2025
The Bali provincial government has set an ambitious goal of attracting 6.5 million international visitors to the island this year, according to Tjok Bagus Pemayun, the Head of Bali’s Tourism Office, speaking in Denpasar on Tuesday.
For domestic tourism, the target has been set at 10.5 million visitors. Pemayun noted that this goal is achievable, as Bali welcomed approximately 6.3 million international tourists in 2024. When factoring in foreign tourists traveling from other parts of Indonesia and entering Bali through Gilimanuk Port or domestic flights, the total number of international visitors to Bali in 2024 is estimated to have reached seven million.
