Jazeera Airways Launches First Direct Flights Between Kuwait and Hungary Starting June 2025
Jazeera Airways will introduce a new twice-weekly route connecting Kuwait City and Budapest from June 5 to September 25, 2025. This seasonal service, marking the first direct connection between Hungary and Kuwait, is seen as a milestone for Budapest Airport. Operated using the airline’s modern Airbus A320 with a capacity of 174 seats, the route signifies Jazeera Airways’ debut operation at Budapest Airport and is expected to enhance the airport’s Middle Eastern connectivity.
The announcement was made in collaboration with Budapest Airport, part of the Vinci Airports network, and Visit Hungary, the country’s tourism agency. Both organizations have expressed their support for the new route, which aligns with efforts to bolster travel and tourism links between Hungary and the Middle East.
The Kuwait-Budapest service will operate twice a week during its seasonal schedule, adding to Budapest Airport’s growing list of Middle Eastern destinations. Kuwait City now joins Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia on the airport’s network map.
