The announcement, made on January 27, marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of luxury rail travel in the region, seamlessly combining opulence with Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage.
The Dream of the Desert train consists of 14 exquisitely designed carriages, featuring 34 luxurious suites that promise an exclusive and intimate experience for discerning travelers. This train isn’t just a mode of transport—it’s a moving five-star destination that offers world-class hospitality and cutting-edge design. The project is a result of a collaboration formalized last year between SAR and Arsenale, bringing together Saudi innovation and Italian craftsmanship to set a new standard for rail travel.
